Don't think it's been mentioned yet... but according to edge.ca Gord is going to be at the Edge studios for a chat with Bookie (oh god the pain) at 4PM on Tuesday October 17th.

Is there any place Gord hasn't been in the last 2 weeks?? I've never seen Universal go this crazy to promote a Hip album before. The Hip have always been somewhat media shy in the past (especially Gord). I wouldn't be surprised if he's starting to get annoyed by this point, having to answer the same questions over and over, and having to appear on the same crappy rock stations all across the country.
Don't get me wrong, I like reading all the articles and listening to him talk, but I've noticed that he's starting to sound like a broken record when answering questions about Bob Rock and World Container. I'm really looking forward to the online chat with Robby and Paul on the 23rd, if only to get a different perspective on the new album.

He was here in Ottawa Monday on the Bear and Live 88.5, and from the little bit I gathered from the Bear while I was getting ready for work, this cross-country studio blizt has made him a tad schizo. He would answer some of the most ridiculous questions with sincere and thoughtful responses, and other legitimate questions by doing nothing but mocking the studio member asking the question. At one point he actually apologized; he didn't "mean to be so irreverent"...
I can only imagine the 'irreverence' factor that will be present when he deals with Bookie after a two week campaign...

I'm going to the Horseshoe... so depending on what time that starts I may go (ie. if I have enough time to go to this and then get a decent spot in the line for the Horseshoe). Only thing is, I've gone to a couple other of these before, and usually you can't even hear what the person is saying!

I just can't stand Bookie.
Bookie: Tell us about track #9..it's the ripper of the album.
Gord: #9, is that the Drop-Off?
Bookie: No, the Kids one.
Wow, it's stunning.
