World Container on iTunes - wpghipfan - 09-19-2006

Hey folks!

World Container is now available for pre-order in iTunes. In View is now available for purchase (.99) and with the pre-order, you get two additional live tracks. The pre-order page has a cool new pic of the band as well. Check it out!

- wpghipfan - 09-19-2006

As far as I know, no DRM. Chris Chris, can you confirm?

Does it say what the two live bonus tracks are?
It does not show World Container on Itunes USA.

- chris - 09-19-2006

The bonus tracks are:
Pigeon Camera - The Logo - Hamburg, Germany 12/1992
New Orleans Is Sinking - Recorded Somewhere on Another Roadside Attraction tour of 1993

I think that both of these were included on singles in the past...

- Summiteer - 09-19-2006

can you get it any sooner than 10-17-06?

You can get In View now, but the rest you'll have to wait for.

Everything from iTunes Store has DRM.

That is correct, which is too bad, as I probably would have pre-ordered it from iTunes, but since there isn't anything new, I'll just wait until the 17th.

I guess that's GD's middle name. Edgar is his father's name (as we discovered while slum hunting in the Queen's ghetto in first year -- guess that was the "land speculation" that brought the Downies to Frontenac county).

Cheers,

Pat

His Dad's name. How do I know? Edgar Downie, father of Gord, was my brother's landlord in Kingston from 1994-1996.

Lived in a place at the corner of Frontenac and Brock across from the park. Purportedly, Gord lived in the place when he was at school in Kingston. Purportedly -- I don't know if it's true.

They used to flood the park in the wintertime for an outdoor rink. I like to think it was Gord's inspiration for 700 ft. Ceiling.
