i don't even like kiss that much, but i'm still going to tell you to lick my ass, they have some good tunes, and they really pushed the envelope as far as stage shows and shock rock...paved the way for/inspired/influenced a fucking ton of music...
your arguement is weak, Kiss have stood the test of time, they still have a massive following...they're still far more popular now than the hip are, ever will be...or ever have been...i'm not suggesting that because th ey're popular they're good, but that they wouldn't still be popular after all these years if they completely sucked...

Yeah, Beth is a real killer ballad. And who doesn't want to rock and roll all night and party every day.
Notice how no one paid attention to Kiss when they didn't wear the make up? Something about the face paint and long tongues hid the fact that the only things they were gods of was sucking.
Kiss were a cheap glam knock off that takes away attention from great glam artists of the 70s. They are no more influencial than Alice Cooper; Essentially they were a glorified boy band.
Sorry for going off there, but there was so much good music in the 70s and so many people (and I know you said you don't really like them DC so I'm not say you directly) love so many shitty artists who wrote and performed tripe.
I could continue, but my ride's here for work.

Player hate on KISS all you want. Won't change the fact I'm a huge KISS fan. And guess what, they sucked hard in the 80's. you could maybe make one decent cd of all the 80's albums. But still I'm a huge KISS fan. Not a kiss fan, a KISS fan. For you uninformed, you can't say anything bad we haven't heard, or change our minds. KISS Army for life, through the good and the bad.
This DVD takes me back to being a kid in the 70's, and getting me into music. Larger than life AND killer tunes. This is their best period. To say they are not influencial is beyond false and stupid.
Whatever. I'm a fan, I'm buying it and enjoy whatever you feel is "good/worthy" of passing throught those wonderful opiated/hotmetal401 ears. I must be stupid to have enjoyed such a lousy, un-influencial, rip-off of a band all these years.

What does importance have to do with anything? I'm sure Poison and Def Leppard influenced a lot of the cheese bands in the 80's. They still both suck. Long live GODDESS FIONA! FOREVER AND EVER!
