he'll be in studio with me in about an hour/hour and a half...was hoping he'd bring his guitar, but doesn't look like it...anybody have anything they'd like me to ask?

Ask him if anyone in his band got their ass kicked by Paul while they were on tour?

And, what's the best town for groupies...so I know where to start my world tour in 2010.

You should ask about the Charlottetown show in June. Ask him what its all about and all that jazz... and then segue into how he's opening for the Hip.
And tell him that Sean Bonner from Rothesay, New Brunswick thinks that Bridge To Nowhere is the most brilliant song he's heard in years.
AND you should record this show and post it up on the base.
...and how he should play Bridge To Nowhere in Charlottetown. (Just kidding about the last part, but seriously, tell him how awesome that song is.)

we play bridge quite a bit here, and i was planning on playing it right after the interview...

Ask them how the re-working of "Disco" is going? If they're going to break out "Hot Metal" again? How about why he shaved; did he lose a bet, or was it because Montreal got tossed from the playoffs (or both)?

I'm sure there's more -- I'm hoping to get an interview with him myself if they roll through Thunder Bay in the fall.

what a cool guy...didn't get to ask him everything i wanted, but he's not opening up for the hip friday night...at least he hasn't been told about it anyways..he joked about how matt mays followed him down to austrailia and he felt obligated to put him on his cd!! how cool it was "learning from the masters" the hip, and how cool it was to play pool with gord downie...talked about the album, and how Rock n roll is getting a great attitude back into the genre...loves the constantines, and just really loves to play rock...really cool guy, but i forgot to ask about the habs...oh well...

he was talking about the commodore show in vancouver...and yeah..i hope you get to hear it soon as well...have i mentioned i LOVE MY JOB!!!!
