As much as I liked the first HDRC album, it was a little too poppy for my tastes. The darker vibe sounds great, Hugh's darker stuff with The Headstones was amazing.

I love this band. Can't wait to hear the new album! On another note, if Paul is now working on the HDRC album, does this mean the new Hip album is finished??? It must be. Unless he's doing double-duty workin' on both projects.

as a headstones diehard, i was thoroughly disappointed with both the album and live show. too glossy/poppy/cheesy for what hugh usually means to me. a changed man is a changed man, fine, but i just can't deal with this from the man who wrote "heart of darkness."
