Any other Led Zeppelin fans in here?

I went to a midnight screening of the new DVD last night. The DVD is in stores on tuesday and last night they showed 2 hours of the 5 1/2 that are on the new DVD at the IMAX here in Calgary. There is some incredible material on there. I'll be buying the new DVD on tuesday for sure.

i bet the dvd will be great but, i get zepplin too much here in Rochester
on the radio. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't play the same god damn
f'n songs all the time. I wish they would play tangerine more or over the hills and far away. But everyday at 5 get the led out with the same songs they play all day.


Sorry for venting

but there is so much great music out there.
Radio stations should take chances with bands not play the same ones over and over leave that for the teen-pop stations

I agree that radio stations kill songs all the time. It's too bad. There are soooo many great Zep tunes that there's no need at all to overplay any one or 5 songs. Tangerine is great so is down by the seaside and so many others.

The thing with the DVD is just that though. They arn't the same old songs that you've heard over and over. Even the version of Stairway to Heaven on there is vastly different. There's an amazing version of Moby Dick where Bohnam goes freaking ape shit for what seems like an hour. Also an incredible version of the Summer song. Jimmy page is in fine form. The whole band is so in tune with one another, little nods and smiles constantly when they're playing with each other. Two thumbs up :thumb: :thumb: at least in my opinion. Your milage may vary.

I can't stand the radio anymore. I try to avoid it if at all possible. I just bring my minidisc player everywhere I go with me and that way I'm in control and not some clown who wants to play Theory of a Nickle or whatever other tripe they feel like feeding the masses over and over again.

This is why i listen to sports talk radio in the car if i dont have a cd on, most music radio stations are shite.

i agree i try not to listen t o the radio . i listen to talk radio as much as possible ususally the don & mike show
