Curious George Soundtrack - Achilles - 02-28-2006

My girlfriend just bought the Curious George soundtrack and I gotta say that getting Jack Johnson to do the whole CD ( with guests like G-love,Ben Harper,Matt Costa etc.) is pretty cool. I really like the fact that he turned children songs and lullaby's into some real cool grooves. The only exception to this CD is the remake of Ben Harpers -With my own 2 hands. I thought it had a real watered down sound. But I guess it carries a pretty good message as a kiddy tune. All in all a real good cd for Jack Johnson fans.

Just picked this up our first child arrives mid-april I figured why not? I think it is pretty good keeps with the fun loving spirit of Jack's other discs and also brings a pretty good message and catchy singalong bits for kids, mine probably won't be ready for it for few years yet but I figured it was the perfect excuse.

Totally overrated artist IMO...ironically however, I have all of his songs.

Aha, my eldest likes music, and my 1 year old is currently singing the chorus to ' Bob the builder' (although just the sounds, not the words)

I might have to get this
