Feel good story - Douglas - 02-24-2006

Did anybody see that clip of that autistic kid yesterday. His coach let him play the last few minutes of the last game of the season just so he could get a jersey. He proceeds to nail 7 of 8 from beyond the arc. The entire gym just goes crazy. Try and find the clip. Real moving stuff.

Ummm, I'm guessing you don't know anyone who is autistic......

- Douglas - 02-24-2006

You're telling me he can drain 3's like that but he can't grab a handful of sweet cheerleader ass? Go get yours buddy!

Well, I don't know this kid personally, but based on what I know from relatives of mine who are autistic, I'm guessing that he has no desire to get some, nor any comprehension as to why he should.

I can't decide if thats tragic or great. What would my life be like wihout the endless pursuit of sweet cheerleader ass?

Really cool story, saw it on the news at 11. Very cool coach, and everyone who goes to the school that supported him during the whole thing.

I read that in the paper this mourning, and then I seen it at every halftime of the NCAA games I watched today.

It's a great story. He was on fire. 20 points in 4 minutes? I play high school basketball right now and that is just incredible. I can't imagine how the atmosphere was inside that gym.

And I bet if Rob Babcock was still the GM of the Raptors he would not hesitate in signing him

Heck, he can't be any worse than Araujo
