This is the definition of a PR disaster.

Oh, gross.
I don't drink beer but I can't see holding this against Keith's. Although I would if they hadn't instantly fired him.
Oh, gross.

What a knob, with two kids at home as well. Nice example dipshit!
Too bad, I really liked those commercials.

somewhat on-topic:
Anyone see the NBC dateline about online sexual predators? They've done three specials on the subject, but that latest one is truly some compelling television.
They worked with law enforcement to set up "stings" where they masquerade online as a 13 year-old boy or girl, and pop the offenders when they show up with the clear intent of "scoring" with a barely-teen.
They just reel in one after the other - and they come from all social classes, professions, races, age groups, etc. - no demographic is spared.
It's quite a travesty to know there are so many freaks who will seek out and prey on our children....

The annonyimity of the net, and the ease of wide contact has done nothing but excabarate a lot of problems.
At even it's most basic and harmless, how many of us have seen posts in message boards that a person would NEVER say in real life, but feel conifdent hiding behind a 17 inch monitor, a keybaord, and 2000 miles of line between sender and target.

I saw the last one there. It was hillarious to see them getting caught. What a great idea..why couldn't cops everywhere do something like that? When the guy said "ok, you're free to leave" and they get to the driveway and are arrested...priceless.
As far as the Keith's guy goes...What a shock, what a waste. Some of the best beer commercials ever, and they're gone forever.

You'd have to know if you were aroused at such images that something MUST be wrong with you. I just can't imagine that.
Am I the only one that thought the commercials were annoying? The first couple were ok but after that it got on my nerves.

They got on my nerves from day 1.
I thought, Alexander Keith died for that beer -- why the hell can't this guy?

Does anyone remember the cereal commercial that had that annoying Scottish guy yelling 'but it's not oatmeal' like anyone thought it was? The first time I saw a Keith's commercial, my husband and I turned to each other and in unison yelled - can you guess? - "BUT IT'S NOT OATMEAL!"
This news could put me off Keith's altogether.

Yeah, those shows were really compelling. I couldnt believe the amount and the variety of people they were catching. And they even busted the same guy within 24 hours, luring him to a meet-up at a mcdonalds. Totally disgusting, but its good to see theyre off the streets.
I believe pervertedjustice.com was the website behind the busts. Basically a netwrok of people who voluntarily set-up these stings, and then report them to authorities and do everything they can to humiliate the perverts.

I actually did like the commercials at first, but yeah they did get tiresome after a while.
I know my Dad HATED this guy's commercials... it'll be interesting to hear what my dad says after I tell him about this.

The thing about the Internet is, cops say it actually makes these freaks easier to catch. It's so much easier to find them online and set up stings. On CTV last night this one cop was talking abuot the international cooperation among police to catch child porn peddlers and users via the Internet.
That made me feel slightly more hopeful, but I still want to run this guy over with a car. Only not my car, because it's a Civic and not nearly big enough to do the damage he deserves.
