Howard's Last Day... - joshwayy - 12-15-2005

Are there any members of Howardnation at the base? You can catch a livefeed of his last day on terrestrial radio before he leaves for uh uh uhhh here: http://music.yahoo.com/promos/howardstern/

The last three shows have been awesome, looking back on all the memories, KC, Beetle, jackie was awesome today...

It's the end of an era...

I know he is in Toronto on reg radio but sirius is not yet available up narth? I know there must be plenty of you who don;t like him, but man he is the best. I bought my sirius and I'm ready... who's wid me?

I friggin LOVE Howard Stern...living in Toronto I just couldn't get enough of the guy. He got me through many many shitty mornings at my old job. Q107 in Toronto gassed him in 2001 but we were still able to pick him up out of Buffalo. Unfortunately Ottawa is too far away to pick him up so I have to stay tuned with updates from www.marksfriggin.com

I will definitely be listening tomorrow for his final day...As far as the Sirius satellite thing, I'm pretty sure if you register with an American address you will be able to get all of the programming.

Goulet!!!

- robert goulet - 12-16-2005

"Good riddance"???...sorry but your wish has not come to fruition...as of January 9th you will be able to listen to him everywhere in the world.

The best radio show ever.
The best DJ ever.

F*ck the FCC, and sirus canada (cbc) from keeping him out of canada for the time being.

Maybe they will wake up and smell the millions of dollars they are losing by not having him on sirus canada

- clearlyentranced - 12-16-2005

Damn, the site on yahoo is so packed I can't even get in.

I listened to Stern for a while when it was on Q107, but after a while I got sick of it. It was the same thing all the time, Robin laughing at the stupidest things and kissing Howard's ass, and Howard ranting about how he created everything and how everyone copies him and steals his ideas. It had its funny moments, but there was just too much other BS for me to stay interested.

The guy is a d - bag. Makes fun of intellectuals, the handicapped, and the church. He propagates the development of our sick and twisted materialistic western culture by elevating the mediocre and corrupt. F*ck him.

Guess what Mick, so did Seinfeld, Friends, The Simpsons, Family Guy and just about every other great comedy show of our time. In regards to the Church It's kinda hard to defend them...especially the one you're referring to...even the strongly devout can't argue with that.....Now, without turning this into a Fatwa I will say that Howard Stern was a pioneer, like him or lump him. Think of every hometown radio comedian and the schtick that they pull on a daily basis...if they tell you that they don't have Howard Stern to thank for making that possible they are complete hipocrites.

Long live the King of All Media.

EDIT: I've been watching the live feed of Howard's Party from Yahoo music and Cheryl Crow is playing his party....oh my god...SHE CAN'T SING. I'm not sure if she's sick or what the deal is but damn she sounds brutal....she looks good, but she sounds brutal.

Goulet!!!

the difference between stern, and the simpsons/seinfeld..etc..is that they did it in an intellectual way, and still with some heart...stern is an overrated asshole propaganda machine...

An intellectual way??? heart??? lol...So you are justifying blasphemy and handicap humour by saying it was all done in good taste and that's good enough for you. I was waiting for you to throw your 2 cents into the fray...but you are as narrow sited as the rest apparently. Something tells me that you'd die to have millions of listeners to your radio station.

Guess what, you're a duesch too Goulet.

millions would be great..of course it would be..but i'm not selling my soul for that....i'm not into the whole "shock" thing...i think his routine is sad, boring and predictable...he's not the "hero" you might think he is in radio, and it's not because we're all jealous..
