Star Wars Battlefront II - wpghipfan - 10-31-2005
Hey folks...
Was browsing thru the games and movies at Walmart today, hopefully catching an early sale of Hipeponymous, when I ran across this game. I was planning on buying it tomorrow on its supposed release date, but there it was, so i picked it up. It is amazing!! Anyone else pick this up yet?

I picked it up fo rmy PC, great game but it freezes everytime i play it...frustrating, I hope they come up with a patch or something to fix that...

I have been looking at this game for quite some time. Can someone please tell me if it is a solo mission game (1 player proceeding through a story) or is it a "squad-based" game where you control other men as well? I really like 1st-person shooters but have never really been able to get into the "squads-friendly" games such as some of those Tom Clancy games.
Could someone please give me the rundown or point me in the direction where I would be able to find out?

It is a solo-mission game. No squad play.

One more question: When you play with multiple players, is there a cooperative mode where you can play the story together or is it a split screen map based battle against each other?

Hey buddy...
You can play both co-operative and head-to-head. Haven't done so myself yet, but I've played online and it's fun as all hell.

The co-op is a blast, me and my buddy rented it and beat the whole thing in one go, it was wild. Definitely alot better than the first one.

I just bought it like a month ago, top of the line "gaming" system, so it should work, Im thinking maybe there is som incompatibility with my video card or somehting....Ill just wait and see...maybe download new video drivers?...

Picked this up today...looks good so far. I like how you get to be a "hero" if your points are high...the lightsaber wielding is pretty hack and slash however....
