There is a yearly "get together" here in Asheville, NC called
Xmas Jam**, put on by Mr. Warren Haynes..for the benefit
of Habitat for Humanity, and this year..Katrina..

I would love to invite..because...I am the Mayorette of Asheville..

As much as that would be great to see, The Hip just wouldn't fit the bill, if it is truly an XMAS Jam (which I am not too sure because NMAS are not a jam band) The Hip are for sure not a Jam band and not capable of being a jam band. If it is a show that showcases great bands, then it would be great to see the Hip there.

Hey, can't blame a girl for trying..

And it's not a "Jam" in the sense of "Jamband" -

It's a jam in the true sense of the word..a bunch of musicians jamming...

It was amazing to see Jorma, John Popper and Warren Haynes
Living Colour and **sigh** Aaron Neville, all in one night.
Aaron singing with Warrens guitars..was breath taking.

NMAS maybe not a "jam" band, per se, but they are definetly
part of the scene..Luther plays with Panic, a lot -

Yup, Luther can certainly Jam with the best of them, and yes they are part of the scene ( which is a great one) They just don't do the crazy long 20-30 jams that some of these guys are known for, Luther, Chris and Cody usually tops it out at about ten minutes tops. Luther is a phenominal Guitar player.


I would love to see that show though, and would love to hear about it after if you make it.

Must be Nice, Panic never comes to Canada.
Actually the Allstars are coming here ( Toronto) on November 9th, Eatern leg of the tour kicks off in T.O. then they make there way down the east coast.

who said nomas was not a jamband, they are def a jamband! have u watched any of the bonnaroo dvd's, or have u been to bonnaroo. they are one of the most visible jambands in the scene man
