I'm hoping for a rematch of the 2004 World Series; I'd love to see them play a full seven games because as much as fun watching them win the Series last year, it would be even better for the Cardinals to show up and give them a run for their money.

Well right now, the team playing the role of WIPTY is crapping the bed... c'mon Angels, get your butts in gear!

St. Louis made it too interesting today, but they will still beat the Padres, especially after they lost Peavy to a broken rib... ouch!

Boy the Chisox just beat the crap out of the Bosox today... but don't count out Boston just yet, if they can come back from 0-3 down against the Yanks, then they have the capability to come back from this.

Anyway, how's this for a darkhorse World Series winner prediction? THE HOUSTON ASTROS! Why? How about this lineup of top 3 starting pitchers... Clemens, Petitte and Oswalt... plus Lidge as a closer has been almost automatic the last couple years. I sure wouldn't want to face the Astros in a short series.

Mussina was spot on tonight, and how about the rookie Robinson Cano? A game winning 3 RBI double with 2 out in the first inning in his first at bat in his first ever playoff appearence... :thumb:
