Just a small note of appreciation to everyone at THE HIP.com.
I e-mailed them asking if they could send any old pictures or posters of the guys for my wife's birthday. She is a HUGE fan!..I got a reply from the e-mail the next day, and five days after that a fed ex. truck pulls up into the driveway with a package from the management company in British Columbia. In the package was an 8x10 picture of the guys autographed, and a poster of In Between Evolution, also signed by the guys. It made her day, as well as mine! Thanks again...great guys and fantastic FAST service and reply!

This may have something to do with either the new management, or the new guy(Mav) in charge of online operations.

During the M@W tour, a friend of mine was in a construction accident. She was the flag person, and was accidentally run over by a dump truck that was backing up, and had a faulty beeper. Anyways, she is a big Hip fan, and I sent a long letter(via e-mail) to thehip.com. We had tickets that week for the show at the Corel Centre. Obviously, she could not attend. So I just asked for them to send a picture, or a get well, or a little something to her hospital room at the General in Ottawa on the day of the concert. I gave them the room number and everything.

I did not even get a response to my e-mail.

Not the bands fault, obviously. For whatever reason the wrong people were running the wrong things. It's nice to hear that you were helped out in your situation. It appears things are on the right track again.
