Albeit, the guy is one of my fav players in nhl 95 snes, he's from chi-town, former hawk, mt. carmel hs grad, but why the hell did the wings (under the new league restrictions) bring this washed up has been back?

I think it is because at 40-something he is still in better shape than a lot of 20-&-30-somethings (I wonder if he still rides the exercise bike in the sauna?). I thought he played fairly well for the Wings (way back when there was NHL hockey.) I guess he is a couple years older now, but I think he will be solid on the blue line again this year.

Try telling that to my brother-in-law... he's convinced Chelios is not a dirty player but one of the best d-men ever.
