Paul finishes the guitar part, gord pics up:

"Defamed destroyer limps into the bay...."

Love how those words just roll of the tongue in their consonance.

When I saw them on Dec 23rd 2000, They had this round screen that came down during a few songs, during bobcaygeon it looked like a full moon, and during scared it was red, and all the lights were red...and it was just stunning...gave me goosebumps.

It's almost like duelling guitars at the end, especially when they do it live with four guys on strings. The finish to Scared is just great. When I first heard it, I thought it was "defamed" too... thought it was in reference to Destroyer Dick Beyer (How many Buffalonians will get that one?) Smile

I've posted audio of the 3rd and 23rd shows... but have never seen mention of video for them.

Made my day. He's got a suit on and he's still wearing the mask! I interviewed him by a public pool in Brampton, Ontario sans mask once. He then did a TV spot afterwards and put the thing on when the camera showed up. He was wearing swim trunks and that mask. Smile

He told that interviewer: "A good wrestling match is like making love to a woman: first ya gotta go slow" (demonstrating the "going" with his fingers) "then ya get it in there a little bit more and ya really get going" (still with the visuals) "and when she comes, or when the crowd is at its loudest, that's when ya pin the guy! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
