Agreed. The Hipbase encourages trading of concert boots and videos and other non-released material. However, we also believe in supporting the artist. In my opinion, buy Day For Night. Others will probably suggest Phantom Power, Road Apples, Up To Here, or Fully Completely. Come to think of it...it's difficult to choose.

But it's funny that s/he joined Hipbase on August 1, but waited two weeks before posting...

This shows some real dedication and, dare I say, an advancement of the troll species; Studying it's target before attacking. Normally trolls are so wound up and pleased with themselves that they figured out that the internet is now available on computers, that they type the first thing that pops into their feeble minds.

Nah, I wouldn't worry about that. The real American fans of the Hip have my respect, and I'd venture to guess they also have the respect of the rest of the Canadian fans too, because it's more difficult to find out about the Hip down there, you have to search them out a lot more.

So don't worry about this loser troll, in my mind he isn't affecting the Hipbase's outlook on the American Hip fans.

No; that won't work. That's what you do, and it doesn't seem to be working.

What is it that you want to know? If you are genuinely interested in learning about this band, or have a question about the band or their music that you want answered, feel free to ask it as you've come to the right place. But to come onto a fansite and make offhanded remarks, insult other members, and generally act the fool, is just asinine. And you're likely going to get banned. If you're not just a troll, searching for attention, prove us wrong. Act like an interested fan and have fun.
