I've only heard a few songs but I do like them as well. I usually don't show up for the opening bands at concerts but I will definately be going to see them open for NIN in November. I'll wait until then to decide whether or not I want to buy their disc. Anyone got any reviews of their cd?

Wouldn't this topic fall into place as a Non-Tragically Hip Discussion? Unless Johnny Fay is playing drums for Death From Above 1979, in a rare bootleg that is up on the bit torrent, I see no relevence for this thread to be posted here...

If you like your music hard, heavy, aggressive and full of attitude, then you'll love these guys. The CD is a definite must-have. It's amazing to me they produce the volume of sound they do with just bass and drums. Anyway I'd recommend their CD to anyone, it rocks and rocks hard! :thumb:
I've never seen them live, but from what I've heard their live show is absolutely killer! If you do check them out, let me know if they are as good as everyone say they are.

seen em live back in april and will be seeing em again when they open for queens and nin in the fall.
the cd kicks ass and so does the live show check em out.

He originally had it in Downloading and trading section,and has since been moved here. i thought it may fit there too cuz Rocketsan siad he got the aud and vid from the show from fabchannel......

saw DFA 1979 play the Horseshoe last summer while in TO, man was it loud, I like it though, it's not loud as in you can't understand anything like some bands who play and all you hear is noise
