I mean, really, what the hell is this guy doing, cutting short Kenny Rogers's suspension? That idiot should be serving hard time for assaulting those cameramen, but nooooo, apparently this arbitrator thinks it's no big deal and cuts short his suspension (which was too short to begin with, in my opinion).

yes, i just did my homework and found that out...,


my point is that there's no way in hell Rogers should be doing 'hard time", for pushing someone...can you imagine how overcrowded our correctional facilities would be if we were locking people up every time there was a little bump or shove? it's ridiculous...


who here among us doesn't get the urge to lay the smack down on someone's candy ass every now and then when we're in the shitty mood...jeez, he didn't even beat this guy up, he pushed, that's toddler BS, how often do we see fbench clearing brawls break-out in baseball, and nobody ever says anything about those, we love em! the crowd goes wild! but push some pencil neck with a camera and loh no, it's the end of the world, gimme a break :roll:

The brawls are between players on the field just like fighting in hockey, this was just a guy doing his job, Rogers had no business dealing with it like that.

and the guy got pushed, i feel bad for the guy about this much ______ , it's not like he got his ass kicked...he got pushed to the ground...boo hoo...lots of people get pushed to the ground every day, and the world still manages to keep turning...doesn't make it right or wrong, i just can't believe that such a huge deal has been made of this.

Yeah, I do agree with TDC. Don't get me wrong, I disagree with Rogers' suspension being cut short, but there's no way he should be in prison for shoving the guy. It was just a shove. As far as I can remember, he didn't even throw a punch. Suspension and fine? Yes. Prison? No.

After reflection, I think I would have chosen different words than "hard time" in my original post.

I agree with him being charged, but probably a fine and probation would do the job.

I'm more upset with his suspension being cut short. I think he should have been suspended the rest of the season... and that I won't back down from.

Oh, one more thing...
