gay marriage legal - willthenurse - 07-20-2005

well finally its official, gays and lesbians can get married in Canada.

I just hope this ends the over-done argument...and I hope everyone can move on. personally, this doesn't effect me at all (being straight and not belonging to a religous group), and I think our government has more important issues to deal with...like fixing the health care system, the armed forces, helping to end childhood poverty, getting Conan to come back to toronto...you know, those old chestnuts.

PS, maybe Canada should enact legislation making it illegal to burn the Canadian flag....

You are right. It is legal now and the country needs to move on.

LOL! Those Conan shows in TO were freakin' hilarious. Am I the only one who laughed my ass off during Triumph's Quebec skit?? It seems that one ruffled more than a few feathers. I suppose parts of it were mildly offensive, but really, how can anybody take the opinions of a hand puppet seriously.
