i told her i'd make two..a live one and a studio one...any thoughts on what should be included? i really don't know much about her, except she has great taste in music...(her requests have included glass onion by the beatles, fat bottomed girls by queen...) and that she sounds hot (which in radio means she's probably not

)...

well, for sure on the live compilation, I would consider the Killerwhaletank version of NOIS and double-suicide version of Highwaygirl.

Other compilation thoughts:
100th and Poets Live (my fave versions of these are from livedownloads vol 2, Ottawa btw. I am blown away by that version of 100th. Incredible. Anyone who hasnt bought this yet, should do it now.)
Escape is at Hand for the Travellin' Man has to be in there somewhere, either live or studio. Bobcaygeon, ABAC.
Nautical Disaster for sure. Grace too, too.
maybe something else esoteric from DFN?
Wheat Kings
Unplucked gems?

You have a "hot" listener who wants free Hip? Probably the RIAA in disguise. Anyway, i've found these songs to be pretty good for non-hip fans:
Poets
Wheat Kings
Little Bones(if they're into twangy music)
Fiddler's Green(trust me on this one)

for the studio mix: poets, abac, bobc, josephine, darkest one -- all great songs, all crowd pleasers.
