You should be able to import the quicktime movie into the app that you are going to burn the DVD with. There should be no need to convert.

What was the url that you found the live 8 bands on?

The only issue with these files is that they are copy protected; and converting/saving them is prohibited. I haven't found a way around it yet, and I've tried a number of professional and free programs. Final Cut Pro, Quicktime Pro, Cleaner, DVD Studio Pro, iDVD and iMovie won't do it for me.

I'll keep puttering about with it, and report back if I find a workaround...

There must be a workaround somehow... as I've found .avi files bearing the aol.com watermark. Just not very many of them.

The easiest solution is to stream the video and record it. But as far as getting around the copy protection, I'm not sure.
