I love this stuff; unexpected lyrics stand alone - Stephen Dame - 06-30-2005

Just shows the reach and relevance of the work. Able to fit so many situations, and able to stand alone. If these guys just wrote lyrics and didn't play music, I'd still love 'em.

It was a very exciting moment for me. I never really clued in that The Golden Rim Motor Inn was actually IN Golden.... Smile

Man, I've driven past that place so many times I've lost count. Naturally I think about the Hip every single time. Once a friend and I were listening to Road Apples on our way to Vancouver, and out of sheer coincidence, just as we heard Paul's jazzy guitar riff to the Luxury, the Golden Rim Motor Inn came into view. My friend looked at me and said: "this is so f**king weird." True story!
