Really nifty site. You can look up Hip addreses, like King and Princess St. in Kingston or Millhaven Pen, or Lombard Street in San Fran, or just zoom in on your house.
Be careful if you look up Wall Street though, mapquest.com stock is falling all over the place

I've been playing with google maps for a couple months now. I find it a lot more useful than mapquest and the sat image feature is just plain cool.

I was going to post about this site earlier this week, as I stumbled across it accidentally and was really impressed. I only wish that they had a better zoom level on the satellite maps... but that said, it is still very cool.
I'm also impressed with how incredibly fast it is. I don't know how google does it, but all of their services are so much quicker at returning useful results than the competition.

The thing that I find waaaaaaaaaaaaay better about Google Maps over the other crap out there is if they can't find the exact address, they give you an approximate location rather than coming back with that wickedly annoying "Can't find the address" message that makes you want to put your fist through the monitor.
Oh, and this just in - MSFT plans on doing something similar later this year. MSFT'company moto continues to be "find out what [more innovative company] is doing, and put more marketing dollars behind it."

I tried to look up The Bathouse a couple of months ago, but there was not satellite information available.
And my house is not there yet - and I built it two years ago.
Very cool program though.
Although, when I was playing around with keyhole a couple of months back, I remember the satellite getting closer to ground level.

Looking for a new place to call home? This is what happens when Craigslist meets google maps: http://www.housingmaps.com/

Apparently the US government edits certain satelite maps that show US govenrment property. Check out the White House, it's a big brown square.
