This is a pretty heavy lineup in the old talent Dept.... even somewhat complimentry as most of these bands have played together at one time or another. I saw The Spades back up Travis Good just this week at the Aron Theatre in Campbellford...great show!
I'm thinking... this could be one of the best shows of the entire NXNE weekend. :thumb:

Upon further inspection, it's too bad that it's on the same night as the 54-40/Rheostatics/Golden Dogs set at Lee's.

I'm hearing that this show is not actually part of NXNE...so I don't think the wristbands will be in affect?
hock: Apparently, for the past several years the Saturday Horseshoe gig was traditionally held for the NOW Magazine showcase....they can't be happy about that one.

Cuff The Duke are worth the price of admission on their own. Here's hoping they march through the crowd. Their "You won't forget our name" gimmick is pretty nifty.
