Well it might be that time to get a new video camera! Right now i have a Sony Digital 8 camera.
I am looking for a camera, that will make colours more viberant! Also a video camera that is good for capturing audio from shows!
And last thing is, something that hs long tapes, and can hold alot of video footage on the recording media! (for instance, my 8mm tapes only hold 1.5 hours, witch kinda sucks for longer setlists, and times like new years........

yeah, i just picked up a sony DVD cam around xmas time...but you only get 0.5hrs taping per DVD...still the shit though!! Have 5 DVDRW's so its ok...

Only half an hour per dvd? yipes! I thought it was more than that nowadays. Would suck to have to change the disc every 1/2 hour. I bet the image quality is good though.

Yah thats what turned me off about the dvd cam's, only 30mins, but i think they do have tapes if you cnahge the mode you can get 1hr. But still, thats not long enough......

it really isnt that bad...i would never record soething for over that time anyways. The pic quality is far superior to the hi8 my GF's dad has, and i can record in 16:9 aspect to fit my TV!!
