Reversing ticketbastard charges? - sfissel - 04-14-2005

So my sister got me to buy tickets to the Oasis concert in Vancouver for her and a few of her friends, I bought them straight away as soon as the pre-sale started and I've gotten her tickets that are just about as far away from the stage as possible.

So I'm thinking that they screwed over the pre-sale people and will release better tickets later? I'm going to keep checking back. The question is, if I buy other tickets, will ticketbastard let me cancel my previous order?

I thought here would be a good place to ask, since we all battle with ticketmaster pretty frequently.

Yeah, tickets, no matter where you buy them, are usually a concrete written in blood contract.

I once damaged some tickets I bought for my sister (steamed open an envelope and smudged all the ink.) When I went down to TM HQ here in Ottawa to explain the situation, the guy behind the counter was able to void and replace the order and print up some new tickets. Since he was voiding it anyway, and the prices were all the same, he was able to upgrade me to better seats.

So, maybe if you go down to the TM HQ in your neck of the woods (Not an outlet, but their actual offices) you may have some luck.

Remember, even heartless corporations need some degree of customer satisfaction in order to operate, if you go down and ask politely, who knows.
