Thats the first Ive heard of that rumor, and I live in London too, usually something that big would get some kind of talk in the papers etc... But 2Ktours are a bunch of dicks anyway, they rape people on prices, and I love what he said about Oasis:
From the "who cares" files.....Oasis and their management crew are all excited cause they're getting set to release a full blown North American tour....give me a break. One stop already booked, the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on June 17. The only thing worth this show is that Aussie rockers, Jet are the opening act......I think they got that one backwards....
Get a life pal! I like how his business is all about selling tickets to concerts and he bashes half the bands he selling for? And for Jet being better than Oasis, NO $&@*# WAY!! sorry but I had to vent. But if the Hip opens the memorial cup that would be awesome, this city would go bonkers! That would be a very nice surprise.

It warrants mentioning that that "who cares" Oasis concert sold out in stupidtime...like, when I tried for Edge presale tickets, the best I could do was in the 300 level, and when tickets went on sale to the general public I couldn't pull anything much lower than the 400s. My girlfriend and I settled for lawns, and the show sold out two days later. Who cares? 16,000 people, I'd wager.

Hmmm... I see how that would cause you problems. Most people here think Ontario, not England, when London is mentioned (for Canadian-based reasons)... but regardless, it's nice to hear from a Hip fan from the other side of the Atlantic. :thumb:
