Hello GD fans,

Wiener Art Records is pleased to announce Gord Downie’s second solo record, Battle of the Nudes, will be
released Tuesday, June 3rd, 2003. Battle of the Nudes is a collection of captivating songs displaying
Gord’s gift for storytelling.

Stay tuned for much more information about Gord’s new record in the coming weeks and months.

Battle of the Nudes will be released simultaneously in Canada and the U.S. In Canada the record will be on
MapleMusic Recordings (distributed by Universal Music). Zoë/Rounder Records will release Battle of the
Nudes in the US.

If you have the Hummingbird Centre, Toronto, Ontario October 15th, 2002 CD listen to Grace, Too....before the song starts Gord says "Battle of the Nudes".....anyone else notice this?

It reminds me of a Star Wars Movie title! Star Wars, Episode III - The Battle of The Nudes (The empire cannot afford armor for all the new stormtroopers!)
