the Low is gonna be performing at one of the free Thursday in the Square Concert events in downtown buffalo this year. Ron Hawkins confirmed this for me backstage at the acoustic revue last week (thanks again Ron )

The Low are gonna be here in Calgary on April 6th. I'm already on the guest list, so needless to say I'm incredibly excited.

I dont know if you have seen them since they put out the new record but its a great live show right now. Of course it always has been but i've really enjoyed the shows on this tour.

Yeah, I saw them back in November just after the new record came out. They really are in top form these days, and the new songs sound amazing live. Gotta love 'em!

Im a big fan of the piano that they have thrown into the new songs and I like how they have reworked some of the older tunes as well.

Me too. I'm especially digging the reworked versions of Kinda the Lonely One and Last Lost Generation.

Yea Last Lost Generation redux is one of my favorites. Ron did Bleed a Little While Tonight on the piano in buffalo (disclive show) but I didnt really care for it that much. Thats one of those classics that shouldnt be F'ed with in my opinion.

When they did that tune in Calgary, the band pretty much played it in it's original form. Ron let the crowd sing the entire first verse and chorus. It was magical.
