Arrested Development - fingernailsonhull - 03-11-2005

I didn't start on this show until yesterday. I took out Season 1 from the local library. Is it just me or is this show brilliant?? The laugh out loud moments are few, but the dialogue is quick and witty. I just love it. I am also reminded that Liza Minelli is the most revolting woman on the planet. Jeffrey Tambor's character is just brilliant. The prison gangs, the Judaism, the self-help tapes...oh, the entertainment is endless. Am I alone on this?

My apologies. I did do a search for Arrested Development and I did not find any thread titles in reference to it. If this topic popped up in an unrelated thread, I will gladly accept my search/tool points.

You are correct. Rest assured I did do a search. However, I only looked through the first couple of pages. How deep was that thread? Anyway, this thread can get locked or whatever. No problem.

Anyways, I'm a huge Arrested development fan, and am completely pissed they are thinking of cancelling it, when it's shows like Malcom in the Middle and Bernie Mack that are slipping, while Arrested just keeps getting better and better. Move it to a differest night and cancel Wild animal attacks and Celeberties without makeup instead :rambo:

BUMP.

Well, the second season of Arrested Development came out today and I rushed down to the local mall to buy it. I was not disappointed. I got into the show when its second season was nearing its completion on air. I own the first season and watched it all the way through a number of times. I'm now through the first disc of the second season. I have only seen a handful of these episodes before. The continued brilliance of this show is wonderful. The third season is 3 episodes in on Fox but new ones are not airing again until after the World Series. Needless to say, I'm arrested. I continue to be amazed by this show. Watch it.

Did anyone else catch the two hour finale last night? That was the greatest two hours of television I've ever watched, and they managed to wrap it up perfectly.
