Thanks for clearing that up. For a second there, I thought that the axe on Ebay was the exact same one that girl is holding but had the headstock, pickguard, tone knobs, and pickup switches replaced, and was repainted black.

I think some of the autographs in the picture above would have been painted over if it is the same guitar in the pic on ebay.

Definitely looks like a different guitar to me.

Do the signatures look authentic? I dont really know.

I think that the signatures look authentic. They match everything that I can recall. It's hard to confuse Bobby's double-B guitar signature with anything else.


But my more pressing question is; how much is this bad boy really worth... without the signatures?

And I wonder how high they set the reserve?

If this thing goes for less than a grand I'll be surprised...other Fender Legacys are selling for around $500 USD, and with all of the signatures the price has to increase substantially from there.

I don't see a certificate of authenticity from a reputable collection house, or any collection house for that matter, but from what I can tell the signatures look authentic to me as well.

Although not displayed, the ad copy does say"Lifetime, moneyback guarantee on authenticity.COA included."

I'd love to win this auction, but I had no idea the guitar was worth much. Maybe if the action doesn't pick up, and the seller really wants to unload the guitar, they'll sell it to me, regardless of the reserve. (Picture me, wishfully thinking...)

man what a sweet axe, I wish I knew how to play, or Id be bidding my ass off for it. It said in the item description that it was played by the Hip as well...hmm I wonder when and where it saw action? Very cool. 8)
