Hey all
This is for everyone who helped with the Rheostatics question. It was done so quickly (and didn't really mock me for not knowing it was a Rheos original) that I thought I would come back your way with this.
This may be tough. In the past year there's been a Telus commerical with pigs or cows, or whatever. The music was this golden New Wave track which may or may not be a straight cover of "Who Put The Bomp". Female singer, sounds kind of like Nina or the Go-Gos.
Any help? It's a Dance Cave staple back home and is driving me nuts (I also want to play it when I'm DJing Saturday night in Kingston)
Cheers
Pat

i know one of the songs in their commercials was called 10000 red balloons but i am not sure if that is the song you are looking for, and i also can't help you with the artists name

No, that's 99 Red Ballons by Nina (I think) -- Goldfinger eventuall covered it
Thanks though

Hey Pat,
If you don't find the answer here from a Hipbaser, try this forum: http://www.whatsthatcalled.com/forum/in ... howforum=9
And where are you DJ'ing? Maybe I'll make a trip home this weekend, and come see/hear you.

Thanks Chris. I'll check that site out. I'm DJing on campus this weekend.
And thanks for the support to come up but I'm under the impression its a private party. I hope to have a proper Toronto debut once I move back there in the spring, post-graduation.
Cheers and thanks again
