Good point! The quicker people stop caring about Ashlee Simpson the quicker she'll go away. Any publicity is good publicity and she shouldn't even be talked about. There, now I'm done talking about her.

No kidding - her album "Autobiography" was the ninth best-selling in 2004 (over 2.5 million copies), and I'm sure Geffen Records stands to make big bucks off her upcoming concert tour.
Is Ashlee a talentless insult to the art of music? Of course. Does that bewilder, confound and irritate true musicians and 'real music' lovers to no end? You betcha. But does that mean that David Geffen is going to suddenly refuse to accept the millions he is making, and will continue to make, hand over fist, thanks to 8-15 year olds everywhere? Yeah. Right.
cratch: Since when can a stupid petition stop legal and overwhelmingly profitable entrepreneurism?
