james McKenty and the Spade's really are something you must see, at least once. you will be hooked on their act. so much energy. James' songwriting skills are deep, and chachi on base is just interesting, while winchester street on drums is a mad man with similarities to "Animal" the muppets drummer.

these guys really do rock, gord sinclair of the Hip found them in a bar and produced their new record, which they recorded at the Hip's bathouse studio. they have opened for the HIP twice i believe. also, dan akroyd is a big fan. go check out their website, i have seen them live twice now, and i'm liking it.

I had the pleasure of seeing James McKenty and the Spades tonight, at a small theatre in Campbellford, ON. (approx. 150 people)

A truly memorable rock n roll show from this talented young trio....Wow!
HIGH Energy and HIGHLY Recommended!!

Had the crowd on it's feet and a nice encore.....loved it. :thumb:

I've witnessed this amazing up and coming phenomena, 4 shows now, one being the Across the Causeway, the next to be tommorrow at the Ironhorse. They are amazing musicians with warm auras, I'm certain they are going to go as far as they want to!!
