Don't think so, the singer here looks like he's playing a Les Paul. Gord only plays acoustics unless he's solo.

Based on the guitar I'd have to go with a big negatoray...but who's to say they didn't take Paul's guit and superimpose (Insert Adam Sandlers "The Goat" joke here) it on Gord's image...

I'd say it's some kind of artistic compliation maybe inspired by the hip
EDIT:
I just noticed in the picture, that guitar might have been super imposed because the neck looks like it might be an arm!
