I'm sitting here at the office and what comes on the radio...Little Bones. So what so you say? Ahhh...this wasn't the studio track, or the LBU version, it was the boot that starts out "Beauty can't save the world, but a tiny tiny cat could...a "beeping" cat could". We get Hip on the radio quite often, but this was the first boot I think I've heard. Had to comment....move on....

That particular version of Bones comes from the most famous Hip bootleg of all time: Roxy & Elsewhere. I still have my store-bought copy that I picked up way back in the early 90s. Long before the Internet and long before I discovered the tape trading community, I actually used to buy bootlegs at various independent record stores. After I started trading with people, it felt good to go into a store and see a Hip boot on the shelf for $40 that I had gotten through the mail for the cost of a blank CD and postage.
