get back again - arseface88 - 12-08-2002

the attempt at spelling out "get back again" over at the aheadbyacentury website is horribly, horribly wrong. can someone tell me how it goes, or point me to a better tab? please?

C D G D C D G D C
What’s the deal with your dad? He don’t even know my name.

I didn’t mean to do that. She won’t even come around.

Every time I look back, didn’t realize that I was better off than now.

Mother’s came and cried for Abel. Brother Caine survived the century’s end.
G D E G A E
All the time that I thought was my friend be alright till we get back again.

(end: be alright till we get back again, ah be alright till we get back again.)

Heaven knows you alright (they won’t ever drag you down)

Hey folks,
this is how I learned to play the first 4 bars of Get Back Again.

First 2 bars - E maj shape with 5th string at 7th fret, slide up to ninth and repeat - let open strings ring

Second 2 bars - G* A G* E
3 x 3 0
3 2 3 0
0 2 0 1
0 2 0 2
2 0 2 2
3 x 3 0

* i think open G5 sounds good here too 3x0033

Thoughts? be gentle, i'm new at this. Peace

Lillte change from my previous post. Just listened to it for the first time in a dog's age. Instead of the first G, try A7sus4 instead , E-e x02030

My ear isn't the best, but it sounds ok to me. Please keep in mind I AM NO MUSICAL GENIUS.
