I have ripped audio from a video... now how do I insert track markers to split the audio up into individual songs?? Any helpers out there?

What I do is simply cut the audio track out of the original, and then "paste to new". I do this over and over until finally I'm left with the last track.

As Billy said, just highlight the section you want and copy/paste to a new track.
