Pearl Jam- Riot Act - Rye - 11-12-2002
Anyone else pick up the new Pearl Jam today? I really like it, although it is really different from their past work. Early favourites are "Save You", and "Thumbing My Way".
Can't wait for the tour next year!

Yeah I just listend to whole album. Thumbing my way is excellent. Hope they tour around Buffalo. The album is worth picking up.

Just Picked it up the other day.
I would have to say it's fucking awesome, my most favourite since Ten, definetly, althought the last song on the album is kind of weird

Save you is by far the best track imo. Was great on Letterman awhile back. Stone was wearing pjs and Dave came up and asked him if he slept well right as Save You ended. Good humor for a usually repedative show.

shut your mouth fool, Letterman is the best thing to happen to tv since live sporting events.
as far as Riot Act goes...IMO it's their second best album right after Vs.

The re-submission of this thread is bizzare... I just finished watching Pearl Jam-Live at the Gardens... its a damn fine DVD, but I still prefer 'Touring Band 2000'...

I think Touring Band 2000 is way better than live at the Garden. The band doesnt seem to have the energy and excitement in the Garden DVD.

Touring Band got me through 3 years of school with no cable. I must have watched that along with Portishead live in NY a thousand times. The crazy thing is I still watch them both on a weekly basis. A couple of the coolest things ever put on DVD.

Riot Act is a great record. Easily one of their best efforts. Word on the street is that the boys are heading into the studio this month to begin work on their next album. I'm betting after the recent election results you're gonna hear a very angry Pearl Jam on the upcoming album. I can't wait! Here's hoping they go with Adam Kasper again as a producer.
