Thought this might be interesting for prognostication in the midst of a tour ... be bold -- tell me, what song will we never hear live again and why?
My money is on: Throwing Off Glass.
Why? written for a movie about curling; good song, but seemed kinda shoe-horned into IVL. Don't think they ever played it with any real frequency during the IVL days, and now with even more material, I think TOG is done like dinner.

The Rules - Because it's a momentum killer and there are better songs that will bring out the lighters in their catalogue.

Apartment Song, for the same reasons lilbones stated, its a momentum killer and there are lots of other songs from their catalog that could be called ballads.

Heart of the Melt; I sure hope not but is it possible? It has only been played four or five times, and mainly during the club shows at the begining of the tour. There must be a valid reason for this but I"m surprised it hasn't shown up more often, I thought it was by far the most impressive song of the Mod Club show.

The Bear and Leave seem like reasonable guesses, given how infrequently they've been played.

... too many easy answers (i.e. all of the EP, 38 Years Old, Fiddler's, etc.), so I think I'll go with "the majority of TATH". Odd songs continue to make their way off of various albums, but I think there are a lot of songs from TATH that have seen their last concert (Let's Stay Engaged, Coconut Cream, Butts, Put it Off, etc.). I was floored to hear 700 ft. in London last night... maybe that's a sign that my theory is wrong.

That makes me very jealous of you Mark. I really hope that Highway Girl comes out again, regardless of if I get to hear it. I have to agree that Apartment Song is probably shelved for good.

Im starting to think that most of IVL is being shelved, except Silver Jet and Good Life obviously, Id like to hear Darkest One alot more, I love that song, they play Dire Wolf now and again but I think that album for the most part is being forgotten.

Engage and put it off are 2 of my fav songs from TATH but i Agree ive only heard Engaged once, and that was teh second acc show back in 99 and put it off is a big fat never

To bad too because Dire Wolf, and Dark Canuck are IMO 2 of the better songs they have put out since PP, maybe, aside from ABAC, DFN.
Just my opinion but i really really love those 2 songs

I hope heart of the melt doesnt get retired, definately in my top 3 on IBE, and I thought it might have been the best song they did at that mod club show aswell!
