Grand Rapids Meet Up?? - cochise - 10-24-2004
Anyone here going to Grand Rapids?? If so is there a meet up place?
Never been there before, is there any good before and after bars or is The Orbit a pretty good place itself??

The Orbit Room is a good venue for The Hip to end their US tour. The venue is like a large club with a stage. What I remember was that the bathrooms were located behind the stage (weird set up). As you walked by it was like you were almost standing next to the guys as they were performing.
I saw them there on The Music @ work tour. The place was half full with a lot of Southern Ontario Canadians there. I'm looking forward to seeing that show. It has a good bar but they ran out of Labatts half way through the show and there were a bunch of unhappy Canadians who had to switch to Bud.

I'm sure the management made a note after the M@W show to keep the refrig well stocked with Labbatt's and Molson the next time the boys came a-touring

I'm hoping to make it to this show, close to me because I'm American! Saw them in Detroit, hopefully I'll get better view this show!

i'm hittin this show. unfortunately i have a wedding reception right before the show. gonna scarf down dinner and head straight to the show!
