what can i say. i love computer games. i love to download computer games and im kinda new to torrent files. can anyone help me find a good game torrent stie? thanx.

As with anything, try one of those fancy, dancy search engines that are popular like <a class="postlink" href="http://www.google.com">www.google.com</a> or <a class="postlink" href="http://www.yahoo.com">www.yahoo.com</a>. A simple search for "computer game torrent" should get you started. (I checked, and it does.)

suprnova is great but if you are running a PC you have to be very careful. I downloaded Fifa 2004 (just to try it out wink wink) and watched as each packet was checked through Norton Anit-Virus's monitoring software. I stopped the download somewhere around 12,000 viruses caught and blocked.

Now if you are running a Mac on the other hand - no worries 'cause their are very little viruses written for them.

Like anything from a source you don't know, never trust it. Some "games" or programs are posted loaded with trojans or gay porn. It happens. It's the risk you take when you download software off the net. The suprnova admins are good though and nuke any bad files. Besides, it's not suprnova that's putting the game or program up for download, they just advertise and make the .torrent file available.

supernova never fully loads for me. so i havent even had the chance to get a virus from them. the page times out before its done loading. wierd. but thanx for the virus advice. maybe someone wants to trade safe, virus free games with me or something. cheers.

Download a program called DC++ (improved version of original Direct Connect) and you can get your hands on just about any game or movie you can think of. I have yet to encounter a virus. Only drawback is that downloads do not run as fast as a torrent because you are only drawing from one user as opposed to many. I think the site is <a class="postlink" href="http://www.dcplusplus.com">www.dcplusplus.com</a>

As most Hipbasers know, I'm a Mac guy. To Trev's point, I've had one virus in 10 years, and it only affected Microsoft Office. Anyone remember the "Melissa" virus???

i do not have a mac. i got supernova to load once completely. but otherwise it never loads for me. maybe too busy? all other pages load fine though. thanx for the help btw. cheers all
