All hip fans should now be aware that people like this are trying to scam us. We set up a ticket exchange not to get burned like that but people seem to wanna play rough and it's not fair. I get made out to be like im a criminal, like i haven't been to 13 shows!!
that's was a real bummer and im ashamed somebody would play that cruel a trick.

Did you set up the trade via the Hipbase, because if you did I will ban his IP from the board so he will not beable to do that again to anyone else.

The sad part is even knowing his IP you can't do much about it (all that proving its him etc). You can personally get charges brought up on him if you knew his real name, address etc. The police might be able to investigate the stolen tickets end of things. But let that be a lesson to everyone. Ask questions first and verify them. It's bad we have to do that but as long as people are trying to make a quick buck they will cheat lie and steal.

my two cents....
even though this has happened, I will not let one bad apple spoil such a great community and my willingness to trust others. In my short time on here and in doing b&p's and trades the willingness of people to help another out amazes me eveytime. And to the guy who sold the bad tickets, in my opinion you are not a hip fan.
