I'm not sure if they'll use the hipclub to sell the tickets. We are different down here in the Maritimes. Whenever they go on sale, us local Hipsters will have to camp out the MC boxoffice or the Sobeys. Whose with me?! Neil? Rory?

Heya Highlander...
If I'm not mistaken, tickets can be bought online thru the Metro Centre website, no? I could be wrong... oh, and as for Sydney, Jamie Innes is flying out here with his girlfriend for the two shows, and we're driving to Sydney around noon on the 4th, so if you or anyone else wants a ride, we could all split the costs. I have three extra seats for the trip to and from.

I'll be camping out outside the Sobeys in Clayton Park...they've never let me down! Front row for Hip x2 and Dylan! I'd love to get togethet with you folks...haven't seen anyone from the board since Gord at the Marquee!

I'll be headed to the Halifax show for sure and was thinking of going to Sydney show as well. Is it possible for me to get in on the plans?Do you guys have meeting spots? I don't know my way around Halifax too well but I'd sure love to meet some fellow hipbasers and get to enjoy two great concerts. The tickets will go onsale Oct 2 right?

Still didn't get an answer as to whether you're going to Sydney on the 4th, thereby missing the Halifax show, or the 5th...which I presume you meant. I would love to tag along if you're going to both shows!

Heya...
The Sydney show is on the 4th, so we would be leaving from Halifax hopefully around noonish that day. The Halifax show is on the 5th (Sunday). We'd be spending the night of the 4th in Sydney after the Hip show, and heading back to Halifax on the morning of the 5th. Sorry for the confusion.
So, is it possible to get tix online, or do we have to wait in line for them? I don't wanna be waiting in line because I need to get tix for Sydney the same morning. Ah well... we'll figure something out...

We'll have to see when and how the tickets are being sold for both shows. I've always gone to the Sobeys here in Clayton Park to get my tix but maybe the Metro Centre may have better chances?
I also have never purchased tickets for Centre 200. Im sure they have a boxoffice. Maybe over phone or on the net.

How do we want to handle the tickets? Get our own or one of us try to get them online in a group of 5 or 6?

We shouldn't get them in a group because I believe the online system searches for group seats together. We stand a much better chance of all getting great seats if we buy individually.
At the Dylan show a couple years ago, a guy switched seats with my friend 8 seats away in the same row so we could be together...that might not happen 6 times for all of us to stand together, but hey, we won't be miles apart.

Kind of defeats the purpose of going as a group somewhat to get individual seats that might be scattered throughout the arena. I figure if we can order tickets online might as well get them together and everyone can pay that person who purchases them. Rory, Jamie, what do you think?
Just have to keep an ear to the ground as to when the tickets are going on sale.

I think that would be cool... I volunteer to take care of Sydney... I got all the info already anyways, and you guys have lived in Halifax longer than me, so you know how to get tickets faster... for the record, Jamie and I will need a total of four between us: Myself and my fiancee, Jamie and his girlfriend...
