You see the "legal limit" for resale value? Nice to know the law declares you can only sell tickets for 10 times their face value...boy that really stops scalpers. A 1000% markup would make any serious hawker turn up his nose...

people will scalp no matter what.... has anyone EVER bought a ticket off a scalper here? I'm sure they have... I personally have never sold tickets for more than face value, but I have bought tickets for events from scalpers...

and who's to say the scalpers don't sign up to the newsletter and get the pw that way.

Or maybe they just logged in here knowing some sap was sure to post the password, thus saving them from even having to buy IVL.

It's all speculation but why not do what you possibly can to prevent this kind of shit?

BTW, I have never bought from a scalper nor sold tickets for a profit.

Billy, it bears repeating the tickets went on eBay an hour BEFORE the pre-sale. This guy had an in, he didn't use the posted password. The eBay thing started at 11 eastern and the presale only happened 52 minutes ago at noon.

Just for the record, I search eBay almost daily for any new Hip collectables. I just happened to spot this listing and was stunned. I wasn't there search for tickets (or trying to sell for that matter).
