My copy of Road Apples is in my dad's car....in Delaware. I don't think I'll be driving 5 hours to go get it. Somehow, I don't have Fiddler's Green on my computer..well, I do, but it's the Sterophonics cover. I'm going to go pout now.-Jenna

I've listened to Fiddler's every year on 9 17 since 98 (when I became a fan)
Just like when I eat chicken, I say to whoever's beside me, "It's full of all them little bones!"
I'd say "welcome back" Stephen but I know you never really left us.

I listened to it today too. This is a hard song for me. Knowing what it's about, does anyone else with kids get choked up when they hear it? Maybe it's just me and I really am weird......

I don't have kids but I get choked up. It's just the sadness in his voice and trying to picture how hard I know it was for him to record that song.
