Seriously, how awesome. You've got to love that Mr. Captain Derek Jeter left before the reporters were allowed into the locker room. That's leadership!

Look on the bright side.
It could have been worse for them.
Well, come to think of it - no it couldn't.

He's not bitter - when he wakes up in the morning and realizes he's not you, he's quite happy.

Must we continue this pointless bashing of one another? I'm as pissy as the next person, but this doesn't need to be dragged into thread after thread....

DC, SHUT UP!

You have slammed the same people in at least three threads.

I don't care whose fault it is, PLEASE STOP IT! NOW! Thanks to you and the people you're arguing with, the entire WCH thread is now closed. PLEASE use your better judgment!

If you want to argue, PM people. Enough is enough!

no Tongue

I DO believe this thread was about the Yankees losing at one time.

I really really really HATE the Yankees. Oh man, I forgot what I was going to say, OH YEAH, have I mentioned I hate the yankees?

I'm a recently 'reformed' Expos fan. I was a fan for 25 years till I moved to Minnesota, then took a haitus from being a 'spos fan, kinda was a Twins fan, and then came back to NY and realized I couldn't invest my heart and soul back into the Expos when they are going to leave Montreal.

So, now I'm a RED SOX FAN BABY! It's pefect since I HATE THE YANKEES The Red Sox have always kinda been my AL team anyway. In my family is ABTY, Anybody but the yankees, but as I've said before my boyfriend is a Yankees fan. I guess we all have our faults.

I leave you with the saying on a T-shirt I saw a few weeks ago in Burlington

I cheer for two baseball teams. The Red Sox and whomever is playing the Yankees.

BTW, I HATE THE YANKEES!!!

PS: I hate the Yankees.

- cferneyh - 09-01-2004

As Bill Simmons has written on ESPN.com, cheering for the Yankees is like cheering for the house in blackjack.
