Amazing how quiet it gets when theres no longer really anything to complain about. We've got our tour dates, the sites been updated, the hip club is partially active, things are rolling, and we have nothing to bitch about at the moment. Although its awfully fun complaining, keep it up Hip and management... :lol: :mrgreen: :lol:

Oh, oh, I have a complaint! How about how they've been farting in our direction - that is, the Maritimes - since 2000? In four years we've had ONE show, and it was on a muddy hill outdoors where I heard the sound wasn't great. I say I heard because they played Canada Day Weekend when I was vacationing elsewhere.
We didn't get the IVL theatre tour, we didn't get the IBE small club tour, and we sure as hell haven't had anything to talk about in the past four years.
Bet you wish you hadn't pointed out a lack of things to complain about now!!

Groovless: thanks man, I'll do you proud. Perhaps you should get your ass on that CN train of yours and start hitting up all those East coast shows :lol: ....well, "East coast"...we have a narrow sense of geography out here, and for some reason Ontario fits into it.

You know...I was gonna try and make it to Toronto...but this is the coldest summer in 60 years and at night, sitting here by an open window, it's probably about 13. I darn near froze on that night train last year when the night air was about ten degrees warmer! I'd love to try it if we got a warm break - IE something approaching normal weather instead of daytime highs of 17 - but it doesn't look promising. but thanks for thinking of it
PS - Ontario's only "coast" is at the edge of a fetid swamp, so we prefer to think of ourselves out here as a geographically privileged to NOT be lumped in with that cesspool...the Atlantic's a beautiful creature that is another league! :jump

I love visiting the east coast... just wish there was more happening so I would actually want to live there.
