It's 11.45a cdt and I haven't got it yet.
I assume this e-mail will have the password necessary for the pre-sales. I don't want to miss out!

No...but I understand there was a press conference this morning...so perhaps this afternoon or tonight?! I see pre-sales are pushed back to Thurs and Friday now, instead of today...so who knows...maybe we'll hear something by mid-September!

I won't post the password/passwords for the presales (it has something to do with the new album), but here is the rest of the e-mail they sent out:

We know many of you have been waiting for this announcement.
The US Tour starts on September 18th in Detroit at the Fox Theatre. We're touring through 21 cities (more dates TBD) and wrapping up in Chicago at the Riviera on October 16th. We're very pleased to be returning to these great cities and cool venues.
Tickets for most of the shows go on sale this Friday and shows marked *** have an Internet pre-sale component for list members ONLY. See below for pre-sale details. Why haven't I got the e-mail?!? Can someone please PM me the password? I've always gotten it at my school address (uoguelph.ca), but they've been making upgrades and I've been missing e-mails all day! The Washington show is the one I really wanna go to!
Also, does anyone have the link? I don't see it up at ticketmaster?!?

Link wasn't on TM website...it was on 9:30 Club website...but weird as it is, they list another act on 9/25...but the ticket page I used to purchase tickets distinctly lists The Hip on 9/25... bizarre ...

Thanks for the PM "random person". How long do you guys think the tix for small venues will be open for? Also, what venue is better (mostly for size): Cleveland, Syracuse or DC?

Well, I'm heading over to the girlfriend's grandparents' for dinner, so I won't have internet access for another 6 hours or so (assuming I can get my heart to slow down enough to be able to safely drive).
If anyone has any comments on which show is better to attend: Cleveland, Syracuse or DC, given that I would like to see the Hip in a smaller venue and that I live in the GTA, it would be greeeatly appreciated.
In the mean time, I'll have to hope the Cleveland venue is as good as the things I have heard about the 9:30 club in DC... in case the DC show gets sold out quickly. Thanks in advance for any advice guys!

Everyone should come to DC... DC is the new blue. for real.
We can have a big bipclub gathering for obsessed fans at the 9:30.

9:30 Club is awesome...I've seen a show there before...easy to talk with the guys after the show as well. Great surrounding area of Washington...my vote is go there...and you could drive to Buffalo and get a cheap flight out of that airport instead of flying from T.O.
